I would just like to make everyone aware of a petition to induct the Outlaws into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I think that would be awesome if they were...
Here is the website :
Thanks for your time,

Hi Guys. Great show at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA last night. You're right, Henry - it is freakin' cold !
That was the 3rd consecutive time I saw you play there (2005,06,09). You guys's always put on a great show. And I like the fact that you've kept the ticket prices reasonable - that's very important!
To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect, with Hughie gone. It didn't take long to realize, that you all are carrying-on in a great way, and as others have noted, you have a future doing this and seeing where your music takes you. I especially liked Prisoner last night - it just has that dreamy-groove that is original and never tiring.
Hope Monte is feeling better; that stuff is really going around!
Have a cool tour guys and please keep the Birchmere, or perhaps this place in the Summer, in mind for future shows here:
Thanks again. Your friend -
Mark Trent

I remember the first time I seen the outlaws, it was in 1975, I was 15. They played in Dayton, Ohio at Hara arena. What a show that was. My youngest son who is now 15, told me the other day that he wants to see the outlaws as his first concert. What an honor to both the outlaws and for me to know he is keeping it alive. Sure hope to see you guys out here near or in Dayton some time soon. Thank you all for all the wonderful music over the years and I look forward to more in the future.

The Boys came a guitars Blazin to BB Kings last Saturday on the coldest night of the Year here. You wouldnt know it by the fire the Outlaws spread on times square. This is the fifth show I have seen since last January 2008 with this new lineup and it just keeps getting better. The reception the crowd gave had to be overwhelming to the boys in the band. They opened with a new tune called Tommorrows another Night. It was met with a rousing ovation. I enjoyed this song very much. They played an hour and forty of high tech, on your feet ,kick ass sourthern rock. Henry was sensational, his voice hasnt lost a thing, in fact its getting better. Billy Crain and Chris Anderson are the best guitar duo I have ever seen. They compliment each other so well. With each show it keeps getting better. Billy provides the spark, his visible enthusiasm is a pleasure to watch. That enthusiasm has spread throughout the band , especially Bassist Randy Threat and Jon Coleman on Keyboards. These two are the younger members of this kick ass band but their outstanding contributations are obvious and appreciated . The heartbeat of the band is Monty Yoho. This salty dog smacked the skins all night with pinpoint precision. The night was high energy wall to wall with all the outlaw standard hits plus three Henry Paul Band songs. The sky is the limit for this band and I look foward to seeing Ya'all soon.
All the best, JC from NYC

I had the pleasure of seeing the Outlaws with my son and a friend at a sold-out BB King's last Friday (January 16), the first time I have seen them play since the loss of Hughie. What a show! Billy and Chris are great lead guitarists in their own right, and the rest of the band was top-notch and very tight. I will certainly go out of my way to see these guys again.
I first saw the Outlaws at the Broome County Arena in Binghamton, NY in 1975 or '76 when they were the opening act for the Doobie Brothers. I always have low expectations for warm-up bands, and was not that familiar with the band at that point. The Outlaws blew me away that night, and the Doobies were a huge let-down by comparison. I have been a big fan of the band ever since, and look forward to seeing them play in the future.
Sundown Band, which opened at BB King's, put on a great show as well.

Unbelievable!! I have seen a TON of Outlaws shows over the years (as
well as HPB and BlackHawk) - and I know this is gonna sound crazy, but
I think last night's show in NYC was the best show I've seen! The
band is so tight and the song selection is fantastic. All the oldies
- Waterhole, Knoxville Girl - even Keep Prayin' !!! And without a
doubt, the best "Gunsmoke" I've ever seen. I was blown away. I saw
the band on their last trip to NYC, shortly after Hughie's passing -
and there was understandably much sadness in the air. We all miss
HT's presence - his voice and guitar - but life goes on and Hughie
would want the music to do the same. Last night's "You are the Show"
was a great nod to HT along with the "Grey Ghost" dedication to him
and Billy Jones and Frank O'Keefe. Chris continues to do a fine job
with Billy's Prisoner (maybe one day we will see "It Follows From Your
Heart" or "Night Wines?") But I must say the old, original "shit-
kickin" Outlaws rock and roll sound is back now and better than ever.
Henry's vocals and the harmonies are spot on, Monte is kickin' it solo
on the kit - and of course the git-tars were ablaze with Billy and
Chris trading licks. Over the top. Long live the OUTLAWS - the best,
most underrated band in the history of rock and roll. Keep on Rockin'!!

I just wanted to thank you guys for making the trip out to CA. It was
the first time I'd seen you since the passing of Hughie. You guys
played your &##*# off last night. The band stayed true to the unique
Outlaws sound and we were totally entertained. Come back soon.....

I am in the hopes this will make it to the eyes of the band members of the Outlaws.
I was absolutely pleased with the performance last night. It was beyond exceptional even with the absence of Hughie. I came with the expectation that you were going to be awesome and, to rekindle the flame I have in my heart for your music. That expectation was met and exceeded by far.
My hat is off to all of you. In particular, I was impressed with the freshness of the newly added guitarist and key board. I am just absolutely floored that you sounded as wonderful as you did. I brought my wife to your music and she absolutely loves all of you her favorite of course being Henry Paul. I have no favorites but I have to say that it was a blessing to witness the smile on Monte Yoho the entire show.
This show truly made my heart smile. Thank you, Thank you and, may God bless you and your families for your sacrifices. The Outlaws forever in my heart. Look forward to hopefully see you in Vegas.

I just saw this Website and want to thank you for keeping my favorite Southern rock band alive. Henry, you were always my favorite voice in the band and I'm so glad you and Monte keep the flame burnin' for Hughie, Billy, and Frank and every other person that was once in this Guitar Army!!
We were honored to see you in your heyday back in the 70's and 80's and count the days to your return to NYC!!!
Can't wait for the BB King's Show!! in January!!
I saw the band with Hughie before he passed and thought if Henry Paul was in the band, it would be amazing!
The Outlaws should have no problem getting into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
Question. Will you be performing any songs from your first solo record? How can I get my hands on the record?
Thanks again bro,
Steven J. Fahey

None have ever embodied my feeling of riding the range as have the
Outlaws. Not many of us real cowboys have real rock support. I
always felt like you guys cared about the West. I always rocked,
seldom did the twain meet. Thanks so much.

I would like to say Hi to Monte and say I have some fond memories of you and BJ and think of you (both) often. I don't know if you remember me but I was Billys 2nd wife. I now live in Canada and wanted to let you know that I have the Paul Willner picture Billy gave me that is titled GG&HT forever. I believe it was the inspiration behind the album cover, the only thing missing in it is the guitar. (That's what Billy said when he gave it to me). I had it framed and it hangs in my home as a reminder of just how great The Outlaws really are!!! I think of all of you often and wish you nothing but LOVE!!!! \

You guys are my favourite band of all time. Saw you in the 80's as support to Little Feat in Manchester but only came to the gig to see you. We left when Little Feat came on!
Are you planning any UK dates? Would love to see you all again.

It was with great pleasure yesterday when I received the news that the OUTLAWS will be performing at the Sweden Rock Festival 3-6 June 2009!! I'm not aware if the OUTLAWS have ever performed here in Sweden before but this will be my fist time seeing the band live and a great one I believe! Really something to look forward to here in the winter cold.
Question to the band: Will there be any meet-and-greet or record signing session?
See You in June, take care!

to The Outlaws:
You're insanely talented, and I hope one day you end up playing a show near where I live so my dad and I could go. Not trying to make you feel old (lol), but my father listened to your music when he was growing up, and since you guys were one of his favorite bands, I inevitably grew up listening to it as well. I'm glad he shared his great taste in music with me, because now I'm a fan too. Keep rockin'.

Hey Outlaws, I hope to god you guys keep touring and putting out music as long as you can because you're one of the few truly great bands still going. Saw them at B.B. King's in NYC last march and recently saw the show up at Wachusett Mt. in the rain, and oh man was that a great one to be right in front of the stage. They just blow me away, especially Billy and Chris trading off licks like nobody's business. Was lucky enough to get a pick from Billy (probably b/c I met him in line for food at Wachusett), and it's the only one I use when I play now. As an 18 year old now, I'm so glad you guys are still around b/c I never got to see Hughie. Ever since I first heard GGHT on the radio when I was 15 and subsequently bought all your records (yes vinyl records), you've become the greatest band in my book. Your music is alive and well with the younger generation and I hope you keep touring (especially up in New England). Also, when's the "Once an Outlaw" album coming out? I think I speak for all Outlaws fans that we're just dying to hear Hughie's last stuff! Thanks for the awesome music.

My name is Bob Munzing and I am a life long Outlaw fan. I saw the band in 07 not much before Hughie passed away. They were as good as ever! One of my first concerts was the Outlaws at the Meadowlands with Todd Rundgren and Boston. Almost 30 years ago and remember it like it was yesterday. Rundgren was in a pink jump suit and spent most of his time on stage dodging frisbies being thrown at him. It was raining terribly but the Outlaws rocked. Then they hit the first note of Green Grass and the sun starts to come out. The place went crazy as they jammed GGHT for 25 minutes. No one stayed for Boston...you can't follow that.
After Hughies passing I just assumed that was the end. I just now stumbled across the new site and can't get the smile off of my face. Henry Paul back and the Outlaws rockin. I did notice I missed a show in Georgia but it will not happen a second time. I listened to that clip you have from the radio show and it gave me chills. I can't wait to see the band again and hang out with Outlaw faithful.

to whom it may concern,
i have been a very faithful fan of the outlaws for many years now
and was completely stunned, shocked, saddened etc. when i
learned of hudhies passing. i've seen those guys play and evolve
from the very early days to present! met hughie and henry here in
richmond, va circa. 1988-90? i have seen 'em play about 8 to 10
times and every show just kept getting better and better! saw billy j.'s
w/the band in 1981. and then, heard of his terrible passing! i have
dealt w/depression for several years now and it is nothing to take
lightly. putting-on the outlaws here @ home is great therapy itself!
when i met hughie along w/a musician friend of mine, we both (w/o
knowing) asked hughie where billy had been. he humbly changed
the subject!
anyway, the reason behind this email......
i have an actual guitar pick used by hughie, i caught it @ one show
(white, thin gauge and his name in black/block style fonts) and had
an idea i would love to be able to purchase : a silver plated pick
that could be "strung" and worn around the neck, like the one he
had on at a lot at the outlaws shows. maybe even a "scribed"
signature of his on it as well! just a thought. i would for sure purchase
several if you guys offered such an item!

Guys,
My name is Mike Hatchell, and I just wanted to say thanks for putting the band back together. You guys sounded great at the Wild Horse Saloon Monday night. I couldn't bear to stay for the Oak Ridge Boys after your too-short set (no offense to Elvira). I know how it is with these kind of gigs (play the hits and git), but it does remind alot of people who the Outlaws are.
I teach guitar to kids and teens out of my house on the weekends, but for my day job I work with Universities. I flew in to see Vanderbilt on Monday, and flew home to North Carolina today. What a great surprise to see your logo on the sign when I walked by the Wild Horse last night. And then the guy at the door said the show was free. And it wasnt even my birthday.
Henry's voice has always had a mournful sound that has only gotten richer since I heard him last. He's the southern rocknroll equivalent to Paul Rodgers: unmistakably unique. I saw Henry and Hughie together at the Boathouse in the late 80s (Norfolk, Va). Man, that was great place to see a show, because the audience was so close to the stage. And that show was one of the best ever for me, by anybody. I like it when you have the chance to dig deep into your catalogue.
Anyway, thanks for the great show, and please please please put your tour dates on-line when you know them! Hearing Hurry Sundown and Freeborn Man last night was incredible. Don't get me wrong, I loved it all. The guitar work and harmonies were both spot-on perfect. Thanks guys. WHen the band nears Greensboro, North Carolina, or anywhere in the southeast, let me know!
Mike Hatchell
PS: My kids say that Green Grass and High Tides is the hardest song on Guitar Hero. Damn right!

I just wanted to thank you guys for the performance of a lifetime at The Chance on Sept. 5, 2008. That was the 8th show I had seen in the last three years, with the first being your second show to kick off the reunion tour at The House of Blues in Orlando 2005. I also had the honor of getting all your autographs on my ticket, something I will cherish for many years to come.
Billy Crain also put on a command performance that night and while Hughie will be missed, I know he is there in spirit for every show. I'm hoping to catch at least one more show before the end of the year and many more next year and so on. Since 1977 The Outlaws has always been my favorite band and I'll keep rockin' as long as you do.

Just want to say thanks guys!! As a transplant to Colorado from Tampa, I boast about good ol' southern rock to anyone who will listen up here. When I found out you were going to be playing at The Grizzly Rose, I told everyone I knew! My girlfriend, who had never heard of The Outlaws, was blown away by your music! We both enjoyed the show and it made for a wonderful night!
Thanks again!!

Greetings. I saw my first Outlaws show back in 1978, and have been an avid
fan ever since, through many iterations of the band's lineup. I saw them at
Wachusett Mountain last month, it was a SENSATIONAL show. They played songs
that I've never heard them play, including Keep Prayin, and Song in the
Breeze, and they also threw in the classic Henry Paul Band songs Grey Ghost
and So Long. I couldn't have dreamed up a better set list. The names of
the players have changed over the years, but the sound remains great - Billy
Crain and Chris Anderson are worthy "Outlaws", and I can't wait for a return
visit up to New England.

Holy Crap, I just ran across your website. Boy, does Green Grass and High Tides bring back memories. Back in the 70's, I would wear that 8 track out. Be jamming thru the song, car filled with smoke, wait for the track to change, and then jam again. It didn't matter because it was pure rock and roll. And when the tape would drag, fold up a piece of paper and stick in the tape drive to lift the tape. I'm 50 now, and it still rocks. Thanks for the memories!

My name is Dennis McKernan and I recently saw the Outlaw show at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY. WOW!!!! What a show!!! They brought the house down. It was really great to hear those old songs featuring Henry's lead vocals. I thought it was a nice touch when Henry recognized Frank O'Keefe as a very integral part of this group and then dedicated Grey Ghost to him. I haven't heard some of these tunes since the 70's. I really missed Hughie though. I think this band is going to go on to do great things. So take it from a guy who's first Outlaw concerts were at the Capital Theater in Passaic, NJ this band is smokin' and well deserving of your support. So do yourself a favor and catch this act the next time they come your way. You owe it to yourself as an Outlaw fan. God Bless Hughie Thomasson, Billy Jones, and Frank O'Keefe. Keep on Rockin'!!!!

Hi everyone, name's Dan and like Larry, I too weathered the rain at the Mountain last night. I was awestruck by this current line-up. I have read great reviews, but had to see it for myself. Amazing and powerful!! These guys just kick ass and Henry..YOU are the show! A brilliant performance to say the least. The sound mix was perfection as well. I am sure the band already knows, but for those who do not, this band has the good fortune of having one of the best stagehands I have ever seen. From instrument set up to sound check and throughout the entire show with guitars and towels to keep them dry (while the guys were playing them no less.) I don't know who you are man, but I'd ask for a raise!
Henry, as did all the guys, nailed the vocals with precision. Billy Crain's play was flawless and I for one did not realize what a huge talent he is (I do now) and the Chuck Berry strut was huge crowd pleaser.
Outlaws, thanks for a GREAT show. Your music is like an addiction and I just myself another fix.
For anyone interested in the set list, these are probably not in the correct order, but to the best of my recollection, here goes:
TGALS
Hurry Sundown
Feel the Heat
Free Born Man
Grey Ghost
You are the Show
Keep Prayin'
So Long
Prisoner
Song in the Breeze
Knoxville Girl
Gunsmoke
Waterhole
GG&HT's
Ghost Riders

I went up to Poughkeepsie on Friday with my brother to see the Outlaws for the fifth time on this , the 2008 Revival tour. We pulled into the hotel parking lot at about 5:30 PM and hanging out front is Henry, Monte and Billy Crain. We said a quick Hello and checked into our room. Later , we had a couple of beers and ran into Jon Coleman in front of the hotel. He was extremely friendly and we talked for about 20 minutes. The show was at "The Chance", an old time rock club with a lot of history. The opening act , Sundown really rocked doing great Southern rock covers.
The outlaws came out smokin' to a croud of totally fired up Southern rock fans. The sound was totally tight and each show I can't believe is better than the one before. Coleman explained to us how the band has unbelievable chemistry and believe me it shows.
Henrys vocals were excellent. He seems real comfortable with the band , As front men go, Hank has tremendous presence.
The setlist is so great, Song in the Breeze is my favorite, But Grey Ghost got the crowd nuts. Chris Anderson Played his ass off the entire night and Killed doing " Prisoner " Monte Yoho was incredible, second only to Keith Moon. Randy and Coleman played great and did a tremendous job on backup vocals. Billy Crain brought his A - GAME . Billy got the crowd crazy with his duck walk , signature moves and inspired signs in Poughkeepsie that read " CRAIN IS GOD " reminiscent of CLAPTON IS GOD in England in 1972. Anyway , this is the best Southern rock band out there. Cant wait to see them again.

I would like to thank The Outlaws for putting on such a tremendous show on September 6th. Hurricane Hanna was coming into New England that day and I am sure the weather turned a lot of people away. I am a longtime fan of the band, having first seen them on the Blazing Saddles Tour. I have also seen them 3 times in the past 2 years. Sure, the band is missing Hughie, but they have made up for it with Henry on vocals and solid rhythm guitar and Billy Crain on lead guitar. The level of musicianship of this band is just unbelievable. The dual lead guitars of Billy and Chris Anderson is just awesome. Yes, the Guitar Army is BACK !!!!!! Nobody sounds like The Outlaws except The Outlaws. Thanks for keeping the music alive.

Just wanted to let Henry and the guys know what a great show they put on at Mt. Wachusett. I drove 2 hrs from Maine with my wife and three kids, and we all had a great time. That was their first Outlaws show, but it won’t be their last. The rain from hurricane Hanna couldn’t damper the spirit of the crowd or the band. My ears are still ringing 3 days later. Thanks for an awesome show, and hope to see you come back to New England next year.

To the booking agent,
I sent an email to James Dolan about the state of the Outlaws today. He is the owner of Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and a smaller venue, The Beacon Theater, not to mention Cablevision, . I told him I have seen this current lineup and told him how impressive they are. This band deserves a shot at the Beacon. Mr. Dolan himself is a musician in a blues band called J.D. and the Straitshot. It is up to You to send demos to his office, emails Youtubes or whatever it takes for him to take notice. Obviously, there are people under him who handle this kind of work. Get to them, The time is now. This band is ready to take the next step. I have seen them five times in the last six months and they have never been better. Southern Rock is still alive in NYC and if you can get "The Outlaws "on that marquee, Then You'll have done this great band justice and earned the right to handle such talent.

I recently saw the southern rock band " The Outlaws " They are incredable. They sound better than ever I have followed this band for 28 years and they now have the best vocals and guitar work of any southern rock band out there including the Allman Bros or Skynard . You would not regret hiring them to work at your fabulous venue. I saw " the hammer of the Gods a few months ago and I enjoyed the venue, all seats have excellent view.

It’s almost midnight here in California. A year ago today, Hughie sung his last song and played his last notes. Everyone knows that on 9/8/08 will be a year since his passing. I was in Las Vegas last week and stopped at the House Of Blues to pay my respects to HT by enjoying whatever music was on the stage. I felt HT smiling down on us and the musicians that were there.
This has been a melancholy week so far. I’m not sure I’ll be too productive at work on Tuesday. I’ll be listening to GGHT on the way to work, and the Live version from BBA on the way home.
We are still waiting for the band to come our way. So many of you have written how great they are.

Hey guys, my name is Chris Davison and I live in NJ. I am great friends with Rick Robbins since I was a little kid and because of it my family and I became friends with Hughie. I became a huge outlaws fan like you wouldn't believe and Hughie would come to visit us from time to time primarily when he was with Skynyrd. He loved to go out fishing on our boat. Anyway, the outlaws were actually at my house for a day back in 1996 I believe it was when they were on their way to New York and the trailer broke. At the time it was Hughie, B.B., Chris Hicks, and there were one or two others on the bus. They all went out of their way to make a little kid like me have a good time with them, and Hughie treated me and my family like he knew us his whole life. When I received a call from Rick about the passing of Hughie, it really hurt, even though I didn't know him as well as I would have liked. I just wanted to say that I am very happy that you all have kept the music alive and are touring. It makes me feel good knowing Hughie is being honored by you all. I look forward to seeing your next show in the area as soon as possible. Thanks and god bless.
Sincerely,
Chris Davison

Hello! I have been a fan of The Outlaws since the early 70s and would like to let the guys know that I think they did an awesome job yesterday at Mt, Wachusett. Their energy was incredible! Thank you Outlaws!
I saw the show in Appleton, WI on August 16. I want to thank you for the great show and for keeping the Outlaws together!
Also thanks to Henry for coming up to me and visiting briefly after and for Monte for taking the time to talk later by the bus.
It was hard to face the loss of Hughie and what I expected to be the loss of the Outlaws, too. Not much comes back in this life, but you brought the Outlaws back, offering notice to all life’s losses, that some things sustain. I’ve seen the Outlaws live since 1982, including recent concerts in Milwaukee in 2006 and 2007. The present version of the both honors those who have gone before and carves out its own identity.
Thank you so much for your good and meaningful music. It really means a lot to me. It was if all the stars I’ve loved who died came from somewhere beyond the scene you see, these lovely people played just for me.

Henry,
I wanted to thank you for signing all the stuff(strat, pick guard,Outlaws strap, and the shirt I had on) I threw at you in Washington. And thanks for taking the time to talk with my daughter and I.You guys were with friends and you took the time to talk with us and it means a great deal to both of us.That goes for Randy and Monte also.Every time I've had a chance to talk with them they were nothing but gracious.I didn't see Chris that night but he was like that with me at other shows as well.I'm sure Billy and Jon are like that also.Billy sure hasn't lost anything has he?
Anybody reading this might as well know this is a band of good guys, and they can play and sing.I would suggest if you get a chance to see The Outlaws or BlackHawk get out there and support them you will not regret it.
I went to Tionesta the next night and it was better still.I liked the way you guys came down to the wall of the pit there during GG+HT.Wish there would have been some shirts but I'll keep checking the web page and hopefully you will get that new one out you told me about. They say you shouldn't meet your heroes because you will be disappointed, well you proved that theory wrong.
Thanks again Henry and I hope to see you many more times in the future.

It has been a long while since I have written. I was a big fan on the old message board. I finally caught the new band in New York at the Woodstock grounds and recently at Rumble on The River in PA. WOW!! I have been a fan since the early 70's and I have been to somewhere in the neighborhood of close to 50 concerts. Most recently taking my 15 yr old son to some of the greatest concerts he will ever remember. The full set in PA was nothing short of UNREAL! I can say in a heartbeat..they truly deserve the name "THE OUTLAWS" this lineup for 2008 is a real treat to hear and see! The band is tight, fast, fun and LOUD....Henry Paul pointed out more than once that Billy Crain and Chris are 2 very special guitar players and they sure can fill a spot-light and leave you in awe. This band reminds me why I have been an Outlaw fan soooo-long...they play live concerts like NO-OTHER! Gray Ghost, Feel The Heat from HP albums fit into an evening of Outlaws real well. The band was without a doubt having a very good time and Henry could not get enough applaud and hell-yea from the crowd...the whole band was on top of their game ....the ending could not have been any better....with all 4 guitars being wireless they jumped on down to the small front lawn inches from the crowd and jammed to GGHT ...My hat goes off to Henry, Monte, Chris, Billy, Jon and Randy......FOR 2008 They are The Outlaws....and my family surely thanks you for a job well done....see you guys again soon!!

Unbelievable show on Saturday at Rumble on the River In Tionesta, PA !!! I couldn't believe the music line-up. You guys played great songs from the old Henry Paul Band to early Outlaws. They brought back a lot of great memories. You all sound as good as you did back then. Hope to see you around these parts again real soon. Southern Rock will live forever!!!!

Looking forward to NY State Fair, take my grandson every year… Now I too can be a contributor of passing the music thru the generations. What a gift! Hurry back to the Tri-City area!!!

The Atlanta show on 8/15 was my first time seeing the “new” band. What a show!!! It is as if the guys got shots of adrenaline and lightning. One of the best shows I have seen in a long time.
Thanks for bringing the music back.

Seen you guys 3 times this year and am proud of the hard work you all are putting into giving us the best show we could ask for. We know you’ll keep it up. Haven’t had any Notes from the Band since April. Hope we can get an update from Monte or Henry soon. I’d like to know more about when we can expect a new CD from this line up (either live or studio), and “Once an Outlaw” will ever see the light of day. I am sure we are all waiting for more news on this. Thanks again guys. See you again at the State Fair x 2 !! GGHTF

My wife and I finally got to see you guys in Rochester N.Y. We drove about 5 hours from Kincardine Ontario Canada. Ever since I heard Green Grass and High Tides in the 70's, I have been looking forward to this day. There was something about that day ...the quality of the sound was dead on, the crowd was electrifying and the weather was intoxicating. You guys seemed to feed from this and performed far greater than I ever expected. The very best show I have ever seen. H.T. would be very proud of you. So don't be strangers to this area and maybe think about an Ontario gig.

Just wanted to say that I am probably one of The Outlaws greatest fans in Western Virginia and Eastern West Virginia. I have followed them for 30 plus years and have attended 7 of their concerts since the announcement of their 30 year reunion tour. I was very instrumental in lobbying Snowshoe resort to book them at their Freedom Fest motorcycle rally, which is only 1 hour from my home. And, they rocked the mountain with their legendary sound on a beautiful outdoor night as they finished to another great band, Pure Prairie League.
Through the years, The Outlaws music has touched anyone who has had an affection for pure Southern Rock. The band continues to enjoy the spirit it created more than 30 years ago at a time when many bands, today, still struggle to create an identity that is 'self defining'. There is no trouble defining The Outlaws, even though they have had to deal with many diversions, particularly losing some of their original members.
Eleven months ago, I felt great concern that we may never experience a live concert from, argueably, one of the greatest southern rock bands ever, The Outlaws. Because of the persistence of the current members to keep this 'sound' alive, I have since seen them at The Birchmere and at Snowshoe. Truly, the Flame is still alive within the current group. Thanks to Monte, Randy, Henry, Chris, Jon and Billy for not letting a legendary sound fade away. Their commitment to this group is as great today as it ever has been.
I hope the spirit of The Outlaws music, as it exists today, can continue in the future w/ the release of the new album. I'm sure it is as much anguish to the band, as to the fans, that this has not happened yet. I can only imagine the greatness that will be cherished by all, when it comes.............................

Our group of loyal Outlaws fans had been waiting 2 years for the band to come to town after a canceled show, but the wait was worth it! Front row center was as good as it gets. After seeing the band 4 times since their reunion, we were anxious to hear the new lineup, knowing we would truly miss the sound of Hughie's voice and his tremendous guitar work. To honor him and the Outlaws legacy, this band really rocked! With Henry at his best on rhythm and lead vocals, Chris and Billy tearing it up on lead guitar, and with Monte, Randy and Jon providing the solid pulse to it all, we were, as they say, blown away. For me the highlight was "Grey Ghost", as the band paid tribute to all those who have left us too soon. The lead work by Billy and Chris was blistering, as it was throughout the set. I was surprised to see quite a few younger fans right up front with us, having a great time, who I found out had been influenced by their parents' love of Outlaws music. We look forward to another double dose by the band at the NY State Fair in Aug., as well as a "Live" CD of this tour and the new album later this year. Thanks guys for keeping this great, great music alive for us to enjoy, hopefully for many years to come!!!

Guys,
As a lot of others have already said, I am so glad that the band is back together and doing what Hughie, Frank and Billy would of wanted. I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Hughie last year, just a week or so after seeing him at State Fair. To be honest, it knocked me for a loop because the Outlaws were one if not my favorite band during my formative years. When I finally bought my first stereo ( A Lloyd's multi-unit with turntable, cassette, receiver, and Yes, an 8-Track!) with my hard earned cash at the mere age of 14 years old, the first Lp I bought that same night was the double live "Bring it Back Alive"..and that was almost 30 years ago. Well, times have changed, but I still have that Lp....I think I may have worn out the 23 minute version of "Green and High Tides" many years ago... but hey, I've got it on CD (but it's just not the same).
So before I blather any further, all I can say is keep up the good work and come to Central New York as many times as possible.
Good luck,
Chris Anderson

(No, I'm not the same guy that's in the band, but I sure wish I could play guitar like that!)

Wanted to send a note to say what a good time we had "under the Big Top" in beautiful downtown Itasca, Illinois. You guys sound great and those harmonies are still flowing through my mind. Stay together please. Appleton seems like a great midwest place to see you guys again. Thanks for the music.

Once again saw the best southern rock band going last Saturday nite in Itasca, IL. Brought my kids this time and turned them on to the Outlaws.
Saw the band in May in Nashville and I have to agree with all who have written fan mail that these guys just keep sounding better and better.
Have seen the band many times in recent years both before and after H.T.'s passing and each time is a fantastic experience and the legacy is alive and well. The band was very cordial meeting with fans both before and after the show and it was great to have Chris Anderson to sign CD liner for his CD "Old Friend". Henry advised that the "Once an Outlaw" CD w/Hughie should be out soon and the band was recording a live CD and will record new music. Keep it going and please try to book another date in the Chicagoland area in November when Blackhawk is in the area. Thank you.

Just wanted to say that I have been a fan since I was alot younger (1976). Yours was the first concert I was allowed to go to. Guess I kinda grew up with you guys. But I wanted to say thanks for continuing to make me feel good when I listen to your music. I have introduced my 16 year old son to your music and he is into it as well. Some things you just gotta pass along.
Anyway.... Thanks for 30+ years of good memories and great memories.
Please pass my condolences to the Thomasson family as I have just recently learned of his passing.
God Bless,

YOU GUYS STILL ROCK!!!
I have been listening to you guys since the beginning and have seen you live at least a dozen times. You are still a fantastic band!!! I brought my 19 year old daughter who had of course heard me play your CD's. She LOVED IT !!!! Your music spans the generations. I had met you guys at the Ambassador West hotel in Chicago after a concert in the 70's. We partied a little and I got to meet the members of the best band ever. Even though you are now without Huey, Billy and Frank you still sound fantastic. I look forward to seeing you again soon. That is saying a LOT as I have only been 2 or 3 concerts in the last 20 years or so after seeing literally hundreds in my teens and 20's. There just weren't many bands worth going to see anymore. I'd drive a long way to see you. So I am saying don't listen to the naysayers out there. Keep on going. Huey and Billy would be proud. Frankly, I think they'd be disappointed if you didn't.
Rock on!!!

Guys the show at Snowshoe blew me away! Hughie would be proud! it was very evident how important it is to you guys to make sure the Outlaws maintain the quality that sets you apart from all other guitar bands and you have done it. I am getting cold chills thinking about the show it was awesome. Hope we may get to do a little trout fishing next time you are in WV if interested let me know i will set it up!

It took 13 hours on a Harley to get from RI to the top of Snowshoe Mtn but it was well worth the trip! Pure Parrie League opened and did a great job. Then they put on a fireworks display that was nice But then the real fireworks ignited; The Outlaws hit the stage and took no prisoners. They were great and were having fun as was the crowd. They met with the fans after a little R&R and was a great time. Road thru a lot of rain on the way home but just remembered the concert and made it back. Ride on Outlaws forever. Thanks for keeping the music out there because you guys are the only ones doing it!

I am interested in sending a letter to the band as a result of the show I was recently honored enough to attend. I also have a few pics I would to share with everyone from the show in Snowshoe, West Virginia. I have already contacted their booking agency to see if they have any possibilities in the Richmond, Virginia area. I would love to catch them again this year, the show in West Virginia was incredible!!!!!
Thanks!

I was at the Snowshoe Mtn. show July, 19. My husband and I travelled 6 hours. He had never seen the Outlaws, but has listened to the music since meeting up with me about 10 years ago. I have been a fan since the beginning! I was in heaven that night, feeling like I was 20 again! But the best part was the smile on my husband’s face through the show. It was awesome!!!!!!!!!! You have found a new fan. The show was great!!!!!!!!! Just as good as the first time I experienced the Outlaws live. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

I wrote months back that the band should come up to the chance in poughkeepsie n.y. I cant believe it when I looked at the tour dates and saw it on the schedule. Henry Paul played there back in 79' and his parents were in the balcony that night... I have been to a few shows in the past 2 years but I cant wait till this one. The show at bethalwoods was great, I know it had to be disappointing to only play for an hour. skynyrd was good but the sounds and the music of the outlaws and henry afar have more feeling in my soul than any other. the band sounded as good as it did at b.b.kings and that was a special night for me... keep it alive as long as you can... see ya sept 5th...

I was sittin' at my PC a couple of months listening to internet radio when GGHT was playing. So I figured I would check the internet to see what the Outlaws was up to.That's when I learned the sad news of Hughie's passing and then of Frank and Billy,I apologize for being out of for so many years.I guess that's what getting married settling down does to ya.
I'm from Orlando and I remember my first concert was, I think, in 1974.That was WORJ's birthday concert at The Orlando Sports Stadium.I think a local band called Fat Chance opened for the Outlaws.I was 14 years old and I partied alot with my friends. The concert was great, but the single most image burned in my brain from the concert was Hughie's long wavy hair and the way the stagelights made it shine. Thanks for all the great music.Let's all raise our glass to all of the fallen Outlaws.Their musical spirit will live forever.
P.S. I still live in Orlando and ya'll come back to central Fl for a gig ,I'm gonna drag my ole lady to the show.

Man these guys can still bring it..! Stood front row in Rochester on Main Street and was literally blown away by the sound, energy, and fury that was, and I am happy to report still is the Outlaws- God Bless Hughie Billy and Frank and this lineup is clearly living up to the Legacy of this great band. Henry is just a Pro's Pro- works his ass off doing this thing right. Chris A is truly unleashed and is breaking new ground on old classics while never straying far from the original and Billy Crain is a pure joy to watch cause that is what you catch- the joy in his playing, being part of this ensemble...Randy and Monte are stellar stokin the rumble of the engine room. If there is a better rock and roll band playing- I'd like to see em..
Keep swinging By Upstate NY- You are Loved Up here.

Best moment of the show..??? Billy looking down at his feet to find a flung bra- looks up and mouths to Randy.."I'm too old for this shit..."

Last Sunday night The Outlaws came to Johnson City, NY with a line-up different from the one I saw them with in the late 70s. Through a lot of tragedy the band continues to hold up and to honor the memories of fallen comrades by carrying on with dedication to the music and to the fans of this great guitar band. This new line-up is remarkable.
I have a son, who plays in a punk rock band and who seldom listens to anything else. He was curious about this band and loves the song Ghost Riders (by other people) so I bought him a ticket and took him to see Henry Paul and company. Neither of us expected him to really like the music, but he left with a tee shirt which he said he will be honored to be seen wearing and the memory of a great concert.
The show inspired me to walk into my boss's office on Monday morning and ask for two vacation days, for Thursday and Friday. On Thursday morning I jumped on the Harley and rode north. After a lot of site seeing and riding I found myself at the Main Street Bridge in Rochester, NY on a Friday night for the second dose of unreal rock - n- roll within a week. I didn't think it possible, but the performance was even better than it had been in Johnson City. With the State Fair coming in Syracuse in about a month, and The Outlaws playing two shows on the same day, I guess I get to see them twice more this summer and WILL be there too.
The Outlaws rule! They were the best of the, so called, Southern Rock bands in the beginning and are still the best to this day. All I can hope for is that they'll find their way back to the area soon.
Thanks guys, and that thanks goes out to not only the performers but to the Spirit of Hughie Thomasson, who made the trip with the band.

I loaded up the truck and I headed to Sellersville, PA..... that is . Swimming pools , Movie stars and the Outlaws.. The trip was 2 hours and 15 minutes from NYC. The set was the same as the previous 3 shows I've seen on this tour. Only difference is each time I see these guys , I cant believe they are better than the time before. First of all this little Theater was great. The acoustics were better than anywhere I've ever seen a show. Before the show we ate at a little Old , rustic Restaurant and Bar a block from the theater and across the room were the Boys in the band. I gave Hank a nod, didn't want to interrupt his pre-show meal.
From the beginning of the show the crowd and the band connected . Henry was much more vocal telling stories and having fun with the audience and horsing around with the band. The clarity and strength of Henry's voice amazes me more each time I see him perform. Jon Coleman was more animated and played the s**t out of the ivories. At one point I thought he might set the keyboard on fire ala Jerry Lee Lewis.
Randy Threet was strong and steady on the Bass guitar, Not to be redundant, His back up vocals are undeniably accurate.
Chris Anderson was incredible on lead , really ripping it all night long. Monte, The mascot was smiling and tearing up the skins from start to finish.
"Hill Billy Boy Crain" was an out of control Junk yard dog with rabies. Henry pulled this old Boy out of a swamp in Tennessee and put him right where he belongs front and center on a stage showing everyone that sees this band , he is the best performer out there , period, End of story.
Highlights of this show: Hank telling stories and teasing his bandmates ( Coleman's backstreet boy haircut ) Chris and Billy playing, tearing it up, as good a guitar duo as there is. The venue itself was nice. After the show The boys came out to the lobby to meet and greet. For a fan of Rock and Roll and an Outlaw fan in particular , there is not a better musical experience to be found.
Thanks again

I saw you guys perform in San Diego in the late 70s and despite a poor opening act by some unknown band, this was the best concert I've ever attended (and I've been to a lot). When all the guitarists converged front and center stage for the final bars of Green Grass and High Tides, it brought me out of my seat (and I'm by nature a subdued person). I'll never forget Henry Paul taking a sip between songs and saying "whoo--whee! That'll make your socks go up and down!" I'm elated to see you guys back together, albeit minus Hughie and Billy. May the memory of them inspire the current group to continue the legacy.
Hope the band makes it to the west coast sometime soon. There's great venues in my area (San Bernardino) with a large fan base.

Outlaws,
Good morning and thanks for a great show last night at "The Fred" in Peachtree City Georgia. Talk about southern fried rock and roll, dueling leads, sweat and ass kicking vocals, WOW! What a breath of fresh air to one again hear great musicians light up the Georgia sky with pure ass kicking rock and roll! Long live the Outlaws!

Wow what a show. The Outlaws are back and sounding great. The Fred was rocking with 2200 plus on a great evening for a show.
Poco took the stage at 8:00 and played all the songs that you would expect to hear in a hour long set. They were kewl. The vocals and Rusty's steel guitar were beautiful to hear.
9:30 and The Outlaws take the stage with There Goes Another Love Song and the crowd is hopping. The rest of the set list was Hurry Sundown, Freeborn Man, Song in the Breeze, Keep Prayin', Feel the Heat, You are the Show, Prisoner, South Carolina, Gunsmoke, So Long, Waterhole, Knoxville Girl, Ghost Rider, Grey Ghost and Green Grass and High Tides. Hank told us this show was being recorded for a live CD that could be released soon. The crowd and atmosphere were great for a live CD. The guys were having a great time and blended with each other just right. Billy "Crazy Legs" Crain earned his nickname as he was all over the stage the entire night. Jon Coleman and his keyboards were a great addition and his stage presence was fantastic. Randy's playing and vocals as usual were great. Chris Anderson, what can you say, he can flat play and sing. He was so good he only need five strings to finish Green Grass and High Tides. Monte was grinning from ear the ear the whole night and having a blast. Hank was fantastic, he conversed with the crowd and told us of our past heroes of Southern Rock, it was a great tribute to our passed friends.
We had taken a couple of tambourines to shake during Hurry Sundown and all the guys autographed them for us along with the postcard of this lineup. Hank and Jon were kind enough to talk with us briefly and pose for pictures. Thanks to all the guys for being so nice and taking time for your fans. We will never forget this night. There was a meet and greet after the show for the fans, so bring your old albums, shirts, hats or whatever you would like to get autographed. There were some new shirts with the new logo and the crossroads picture and they looked good. Bring cash for merchandise as they couldn't accept plastic just yet.
OUTLAWS FANS: If you get the chance to go to a show by all means GO. They sounded great and had a ball playing for us. You can't find music anymore like the rock and roll show these guys deliver.

Outlaws, Merely brought a tear to my eye to see a return to a legacy that Hughie would have wanted to continue.Bringing back the Outlaws music and awesome shows is the best news of the summer as of yet.Was able to attend the Terryville Fairgrounds show last summer .The show was outstanding and somewhat personal due to bad promoting on the host.I was hoping to see maybe a Hughie guitar present as a kind of remembrance on stage .sitting here at work bored and just surfing the web . I happened to go to your site to see if anything new was forming as the smoke cleared from the Hughie loss.Thank god I did .If you can book a date more north Connecticut area would surmise . I will contact our Lions club in Terryville to see if anyone has been booked for the August Fair . Be sure nice to listening to the group again.Monte and Henry god bless you both and your safe travels throughout the summer. This goes out to the rest of the band as well .
Good Luck,

I went to see you guys in the summer of 07 in Pittsburgh. Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker and you guys. All I could say to my wife was WOW! I had the hairs on my neck standing up when the Outlaws played. I played your self titled album ten thousand times as a teenager and then finally getting to see the band live was probably the greatest live concert that I ever watched, and I've seen a lot of concerts. I know that everyone is not the same but please keep playing on. There is just something about the Outlaws that makes me want to hear more from them. Maybe we all have a little Outlaw in us.
Thanks,
Terry
P.S. I love Trail Of Tears

Hi all you Laws fans.
Here's a little note from Holland. I've always been a great fan . In fact the Outlaws were the first band I was absolutely devoted to. I wish they did Europe again, and of course Holland. I've not, I will come and see them in the States, I simply sell my car to pay the ticket, and ride a horse instead, like a real Outlaw !
All the best,
Gudi

Everybody on here has given outstanding reviews of each Outlaws' concert, and I'm happy for each fan and especially the band. Are they planning a second leg of this tour in which we might see the band come a little further west perhaps? I look at the schedule, and I think there's only one date west of the Mississippi River. We're needing to get Outlaw'd here in Oklahoma! Also, are we ever going to see Once An Outlaw released? I realize there must be a few mixed emotions, and possibly a few legalities, but it would be a shame to never get Hughie's last work out there...

MAN.... getting tough these days for a person to find the right place to post about the LAWS.
Caught the guys at the Wildhorse in Nashville the other night. You know guys.... yes, the 'Flame' is gone... unfortunately for us all. But the white-hot intensity represented by the Laws which creates a total scorched-stage policy is stronger than ever.
I could go over the set list. What songs they did made no difference. They pulled out songs I'd forgotten about. Here's what's important now - these guys are having fun. When they're having fun, we fans are having fun. I'm not sure whether it was Monte or Henry (or a combination) that has caused this revival. But any fan who sees them now is in for a real treat.
Henry and Monte, thank you for the enthusiasm you've brought back. I've seen you so many times.... but I've never seen you have that much fun. Hey Henry, don't ride Chris too hard about being late. He's always worth the wait for any of us fans.... gotta be one of the best in the biz. I sat there on the front row with Billy playing in my lap all night. Afterward, my oldest boy asked me if I appreciated the personal guitar lessons (I did)... and if I learned anything (I didn't... I already knew he was one of the best alive). But Billy, I do appreciate you working so hard all night to make sure I never forget it.... I won't. Randy and Jon, what can I say... you guys are awesome additions to the band.
As if you guys weren't enough, we had the special treat of Billy's big brother Tommy coming out and playing for us with you. One word of caution there guys - a five guitar version of 'Ghost Riders' is NOT a 'guitar army'. It's a limited nuclear strike. Other than my own personal brain damage which I didn't mind, you could have hurt someone with that.
I've already raised 2 Laws fans (21 and 26). In August, I'll be introducing my 6 year old little girl to you in KY. For the fans out there... don't miss them if you get the chance. For the band, there's no way I can thank you enough for yet another opportunity to see the greatest band on the face of the earth.

Came down from Chicago with a friend of mine and we were lucky enough to catch the sound check and meet the band @ the meet and greet before the show. I was a little apprehensive of my show without Hughie, but I have to say that the band sounded fantastic and Henry had a nice tribute to HT and Frank and Billy. The band was very friendly backstage and very accommodating with photos and autographs. Want to send out a special thank you to Chris Anderson for photo ops. Billy Crain is unreal and as usual Chris Anderson rocked. Nice to see Tommy Crain onstage as a guest and the backbeat set by Randy and Monte was great. Jon Coleman is a nice addition. The set list rocked and it was great to hear Grey Ghost and So Long. As usual we met great people (especially from Bowling Green, OH) and I am looking forward to seeing the band on July 12th in Itasca, IL. so I can turn my kids on to the best southern rock band out there.

To my pleasant surprise I see that The Outlaws are touring again. I have been knowing you all for 30 plus years in many venues. I live it Pittsburgh, PA and had the pleasure of seeing you all perform three times in last couple of years. (Twice at the Roadhouse - and once at Heinz field.)
It all started in 1977 with some of those Thanksgiving weekend concerts at the soon to be torn down Civic Arena.
Thanks Henry for keeping this love alive.

Hi Everybody,
My wife and I were at the latest and one of the greatest of Outlaw's shows this past Friday night at the Starland Ballroom (funny it doesn't look like a Ballroom. Not that I would know what one looked like even if I were in one, but it sure was an excellent good-old-fashion big local bar and rock club). Anyway, Rachel and me had the pleasure of seeing the Outlaws again- this time from the 1st and 2nd rows (she was in front of Chris and I was the guy with the # 72 NY Giants (Osi, baby!) jersey behind her). The first time I had seen the Outlaws was in 1980 (that's BC as in before children) at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. I was born in the southland... South Brooklyn that is, and y'all would be amazed at how many southern rock fans there are in the tri-state area up here. We (the wife and now 2 kids) moved to Riverview, Florida in '92 just down the road from Henry although I never did stop by and bother him - I wish I had, but I thought he had enough of that when on the road and would be better off if I left him to enjoy his time with his family and friends.
About this show... this band just plain old kicked ass on Friday night! They were outstanding! (as usual). Henry sounded great as always and played a great guitar. Chris and Billy were amazing on leads (I never knew Billy had such a stage presence (but how would I? I never have seen him live before - I only enjoyed his playing from afar with his days with the Henry Paul Band. Chris Anderson - what can I say about him? The guy's the total package - he can play with or beyond the best of 'em and can more than adequately sing lead and background. Monte Yoho is like a fine wine- the man just keeps getting better with age. He really, really sounded terrific and pounded out the underbelly of all of the songs with his precision and outstanding drumming. Randy Threet is an amazing bass guitar player and excellent background singer as well. Jon Coleman- you rock my brother man! This guy played the keyboards so passionately that he damn-near busted the support on right side. But he wasn't just animated in his playing; he is an outstanding musician as well and a credit to the background vocals. This band is just so great to see live. Trust me folks, if you ever have a chance to see The Outlaws live, do it! They went on at 11PM and played for 2+ hours and I tell ya, I wish they were still playing- cause I'd still be there enjoying them! We can't wait till we see 'em again.
I also would like to ask anyone out there in TV-land this: Does anyone know if there are their plans to release the last album with the late-great Hughie Thomasson, before the band does up a new one of their own? Will there be a double album with the last HT work and the "new"? I am so happy we got the chance around a year and a half ago to see Hughie, Henry and Monte and the rest of the band one last time in Atlantic City, N.J.
My wife and I are so saddened by the passing of a rock legend and give my heartfelt condolences to The Thomasson family -- be it blood relatives, close friends and band mates or those like me who were akin to him by the love we all shared for this great band and it's music.
Last note- break the R&R Hall's balls everybody!
It's not that the R&R HoF is even R&R only anymore (that would be the topic of another email), but you talk about bull&@%t?
How bands like The Outlaws, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Bad Co, The Moody Blues and many others are not in, yet such R&R "legends" like, well I'm not even gonna name 'em here and up their Google count cause some of them really suck and the R&R Hall of Shame should be dismantled, relocated and put me in charge cause I'll take care of the business of who's legit and who belongs outside!
Great, Great, F'n Great Show! God Bless you guys, your families, all the fans and America!
Best Regards,
Tommy D

I have been a fan of this great band since 1977, and have seen you guys live over 10 times, hope to catch you on this tour. I know it must be hard going on without Hughie. It just shows the great spirit of this band. I hope you will tell us when Once An Outlaw will be coming out.
Rock on........

Great to see you guys carrying on. Saw the show a few years ago at Foxwoods with Henry. Unreal!! Can't wait to see you with Billy Crain.
When are you coming to the Boston area. Also, any plans to release Playin To Win on CD ? I would guess many fans would jump all over that.

Hope to See ya at Konocti again.

I made the trip to Sayerville N.J. last night from N.Y.C. and the trip was well worth it. In one's life , You only get a certain amount of perfect nights and this was one for me. Before the show, I had the opportunity to talk to Monte Yoho outside the tour bus and He couldn't have been more friendly. I also met Billy Crain briefly right before the band headed on stage. The band came out blazing , banging out hit after hit. The sound was terrific and the band couldn't have been more tight. Henry's voice was outstanding and he played great. Randy Threat was excellent playing bass with precision and his backup vocals were totally on the mark. Chris Anderson was tremendous on lead guitar on most of the numbers with lightning quick fingers tearing it up all night . Jon Coleman stood out on two songs and did a great job throughout. Monte was shredding the skins which is par for the course. Bad Boy Billy Crain, What can I say about this dude. He is a sick guitar hero and his showmanship was off the charts. Memo to Derek Trucks : Check out an Outlaw show, You can learn a lot from Billy Crain. This is the third show on this 2008 tour and for me it was the best. There was electricity in the air last night and the band brought it from beginning to end. Highlights for me : Gunsmoke, Song in the Breeze , Chris doing Prisinor, Billy doing his Chuck Berry skip step across the stage and Henry's vocals are second to none. This was truly a special night . I look foward to seeing you guys again,
All the best !

Wanted to tell the band, thanks for putting on one heck of great show at Derby Lane. It was the final stop on the Florida leg of the tour and they didn't disappoint. Thanks to each of the members for going out of their way and making my kids and wife feel truly appreciated for being there. My youngest is still jazzed that you all signed his cast. Best to you guys on the rest of the tour...looking forward to hearing your album (when it gets put out). For the other visitors to the site that haven't seen the band yet, don't let the chance slip away. When they come to town....GO! These guys are GOOD!!

The new Line-up is the best that I can remember. I also want to say that we all hold dear to us the Lives of Billy Jones and Frank and Hughie. I just hope people don't forget Dave Feister because when I see Billy (Amazing) Crain I always think of Dave. I will be seeing the Band in 4 dates later this year in Pa, WV, Ill and maybe Wisconsin.

Chris:
A pleasure talking to you for a few brief moments in the Pittsburgh Airport last Sunday - 4/6. It's refreshing to hear you say that you too grew up on the music of the Outlaws. It must be unique to admire and later become a major contributing part of the same topic.
The new line-up looks kickin' and I just took a glance at the updated website. To the WebGuru: nice work! - Very eye-appealing, some nice new pics and simple to navigate - here's a well deserved "Atta Boy."
The return of Billy is a great relief to all the Southern rockers who have been longing for his wailing leads since the last time Grey Ghost blistered into silence.
Amazing how the 6 degrees flows from known to unknown...
Just got an email from Snowshoe Resort today about the upcoming Summer events. Never been to the Freedom Fest but spent ten great Winters of my life on that mountain, you are in for a real treat. The "Island in the Sky" - an upside down city bathed in pure Appalachian beauty, 4848 ft above sea level - and full of views in all directions of the finest of West Virginia's offering to many folks' vision of perfection. Well placed in the middle of nowhere yet the center of my universe for many smiling years. (fyi - it may become a little chilly outdoors on Skidder slope by show time even in July.) Hope you enjoy your visit to one of my favorite places north of an island in the Caribbean.
Please let me know if the refueled Florida Guitar Army is invading Pittsburgh any time soon...
Lots of luck on the road and as always, "go down rockin' "

Dear Outlaws and Fans,
The Outlaws have again proven that southern country rock is alive and well in 21st century! Three years ago, I eagerly anticipated seeing the band for the first time. I wasn't too sure if it would ever happen, but kept my fingers crossed for several years that it would. When Hughie, Henry, Monte, David, Chris and Randy took the stage at the House of Blues in Orlando in 2005, I was thrilled beyond words, and the show was everything I had ever expected. It was completely authentic, and honored the legacy of the 70s "heyday" which so many of us were too young to experience. I wasn't too sure if the Outlaws would go on after Hughie's passing, but after seeing the Lyric Theatre show on Friday night, I am glad and relieved the band has been put together as rockin' as ever. We all welcomed Billy Crain and Jon Coleman into the band, and it was wonderful to hear old friends play the music they created decades ago!!
love and peace,
OutlawSteph

The Outlaws "Guitar Army" is ALIVE and Well!!!
We were there at The 6:00 PM show, at the Lyric Theatre, April, 11, 2008! We were second row center aisle, stage right.
And when the opening notes of "There Goes Another Love Song", and then right into "Hurry Sundown", it was very clear that the Phoenix had risen again!
Chris, you played and sang your heart out on "Prisoner", your performance last night is a gift we will always be thankful for.
Billy Crain you are a remarkable guitar player, your axe was smokin', it was playing musical notes that were so hot, it caught the stage on fire! Thanks you two, for taking the time to talk with us as you stepped off the bus.
Randy and Monte create a rhythm section that rivals anyone on tour today. And Jon Coleman on keyboards is a welcome addition, very impressive.
Special thanks goes out to Henry Paul, who along with Monte Yoho, were right there when the magic happened 35 years ago. I truly believe this version of the Outlaws was inspired by Hughie himself!
All of you were in top form, and it showed that you were there for us, as well as to help the healing process.
Instead of a fading echo of Outlaws music slipping away to memory, you invited us to continue to ride with the Outlaws, as they continue to remind us of who we are and where we come from.
God bless your hearts always, and as we lift our glass to everyone who has ever played in the Outlaws.....SALUTE!!!
Lucky and Mitzi

The lineup of the Outlaws ranks up there with some of the best lineups of BH and the Outlaws that I've seen. If I had to rank three best lineups of each bands I'd say: Outlaws '08, Outlaws '05, and BH w/AC are the three best.
Having Billy Crain with the Outlaws brought fresh energy (total understatement ) and what seems like instant chemistry with Chris A. I can't think of any two six string guitar players who I have heard who can play harmonized guitar solos like I heard last night. It's what real southern country rock is all about. Lots of fans there knew who Billy was and were in guitar heaven hearing him play again. He's a really sweet guy too.
HP sounded awesome.. it was very nice to hear him with Chris and Randy again!
The only setlist remark I'd have is take out You Are the Show and replace it with LONELY DREAMER.

Hi there, you Southern Rockers!
Here's a short note from the Netherlands, just to tell you how thrilled I am knowing you're back on the road.
I really hope the Outlaws will visit our little country again someday. I'm still very grateful that I've had the chance to see Hughie at the Arrow Rock Festival over here, just a couple of months before he passed away. And now I'm counting the days till you guys will bring the new formed band back to us. I'm sure a lot of European fans will love to see you back here once again! From what I've seen and heard on the website the band sounds great!
I'm also looking forward to the new cd. The last thing Hughie's left us. Is there anything known yet about when it will be released? I can hardly wait.
Keep up the Southern Spirit guys, love you to bits!
Tabitha.

JB,
I saw on the Blackhawk board that they are going to be playing at the Medina Entertainment Complex in Minnesota later this summer or early fall and was hoping that the Outlaws would also be playing somewhere else besides the East Coast. Any news on them getting to the West??
Thanks in advance for any info. Do you know how Bruce B is doing?

Philly Bound!!!
Seen the Outlaws in Atlantic City on February 22, 2008, and was blown away by how good you guys still are. I see your heading north in June (Sellersville, PA). It's a little ride from Philly but I will make the trip. I can't wait. I hope your management can schedule a date in Philly around that time. There is a big Outlaws fan base here. Long live Southern Rock. God Bless Hughie, Billy, and Frank.

Hi Guys,
Condolences about Hughie, I hail from Manchester England (colder and wetter than Florida!) I know we'll probably never get to see you over here live but all the best for carrying on and you must release the album and don't leave off Full Circle (so poignant now and a fitting tribute to a very talented individual.) Can only play it off YouTube and poor sound , it's one of my favorite songs, can really relate to it. And to quote a great line "time waits for no man, surely not for me" (I'm 51 years young.) Lets keep on rocking !!!!!!!

B.B. Kings
WOW, I finally found time from my busy schedule to write. Great show, I saw the band back in '05 at B.B. Kings and just got chills to hear all the songs "live." I was so glad that I went to the show at Westbrury, CT..... just before Hughie's passing (what a shock). If you closed your eyes the other night you could hear Hughie's signature voice when the band played Ghost Riders. When Blackhawk played Dutchess County Fair one summer they mixed in the solos of Grey Ghost and So Long in their mix . I followed them to a show in CT. and I couldn't believe to here the HPB songs live again. Henry came over and talked to us and he's so down to earth. My 15 year old son came down to the show with us and having to listen to the Outlaws and HPB songs all these years he knew every song. He stood up after the show and looked at me and said "wow" that was awesome. I think seeing a band with lead guitar players changed him. He plays guitar and he spent the next day learning the chords to Green Grass. It must have been tough for the band to get back, but I know the songs touched the hearts of every Outlaws fan. Thanks Henry for signing the picture of me and my brothers. Would love to hear Cold Harbor live someday. Please come back to the northeast again. How about 'The Chance' in Poughkeepsie. NY.

I've been an Outlaws fan for more than 30 years. I saw them twice back in the early 1980's at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. In recent times, we saw them in Peoria,IL. in 2006 and Aurora,IL. in 2007. My wife and I and some friends were even lucky enough to spend some time talking to Monte at the hotel and Randy and Monte at the "Roundhouse" in Aurora last year. What an honor for us!
I was deeply saddened when I heard that Hughie had passed. Thinking, we had just seen them a month before in Aurora. The show was great! However, I was gratified to hear that Henry had joined the forces with the band to keep the Outlaws alive. I followed HPB in the 80's and what a way to bring the band back together and keep them moving forward.
We would live to see you again in Central Illinois!

I have traveled all over the United States to see The Outlaws play. The first concert was at the Hollywood Sportatorium in 1979, the last was the Birchmere in February. Flew my little airplane 6 hours, but it was fun!!!
I just wanted to say THANK YOU Henry and Monte for keeping Hughie's music alive. I love you guys, I love the many, many friends I have made as a result of this bands great music. Keeping Hughie's legacy alive is important to so many, and this band is fantastic and does just that, again a heart felt thank you.

Still Slingin'
Hey guys I'm one of the old guard. I remember the shows in Tampa way back in the day (1970s). I have a memory of passing around a bottle of Jack at an outdoor Outlaws concert at USF about 1976. Frank opened it and started passin' it around because it was so frickin' cold. The shock of Hughie's passing was like a part of me died because I thought that it was all over. I should have known that y'all would be back. Thanks Henry & Monte for not letting go. I'll catch ya on the Florida leg. One idea, please try to play in the Tampa Bay area soon, it just ain't right ya know? Just tell the boys not to dance on the tables if it's at the State Theater! Ha, I'll never forget seeing Hughie chase that bouncer out the door...
Y'all keep rockin', I'll keep buyin'!

A note on B.B. Kings
B. B. Kings...
Blew me away! What a great show, Billy and Chris are Scary good, great harmonies, Bass and Drums were excellent as always and Jon on keyboards adds color and depth. Throw in Henry on vocals and you got one kick ass band. For more then 30 years your songs have been the soundtrack of some of the best times in my life. I've seen you live countless times, but there was something very special about Mulcahy's and B.B. Kings that took it to another level. The new arrangements to some of the old songs brought back memories of my teenage years. It was great meeting all of you backstage. In my mind you never sounded better. We all miss Hughie and his presence, but I'm sure he is proud of the respect and care all of you have for this music justice. Henry said it best, "it's not about the money anymore, it's just about the music." How about a new live CD or better yet DVD?
Thanks for letting the journey continue......
See you next time,
Marco

Hey,
I just wanted to say that I decided to check out your site for the first time in months, and I was shocked to see that Henry was back in the band. I had the luxury of meeting Monte after the Outlaws' performance last year at the Ford Amphitheater, as part of the Volunteer Jam with Charlie Daniels. It was quite an experience to say the least.
I am writing to plead for you to make a stop in Tampa once again, now that Henry is back with the group. I am relatively new to the you guys, but as a 27-year old, I grew up on Henry's "other group." My parents, who are c/o '74 at Tampa Tech, have told me numerous times of the joy they had at your concerts at Riverfront Park near USF.
Anyways, I love your music, and I just wish you would bring the "Revival"
back home.

It sounds like everybody is having a great time at the new shows. I was blessed to have seen the 30th Anniversary Tour 3 times, as well as one of them at The Vault in Long Beach, Ca. with Henry.(Monte was playing double duty as Dave was at his daughter's wedding.) We can't wait for the new tour to come to The Coach House. We're ready! Bring it on!

Comments on B.B. King show...
WOW - I am still smilin' when I think about the show on Saturday night at B.B. King's in NYC. The crowd was enthusiastic and with good reason as the band seems to get tighter with each show. Henry has emerged as the de-facto spokesman with his enthusiam and charisma. This is not to take away from any of the other important players in this talented and tightly intergrated version of the "Florida Guitar Army". The triple guitar attack is back with a vengence ! The vocal harmonies and guitar work from Chris and Billy are amazing to see, given the short time this group has been together. Monte, Randy and Jon provide a depth and fullness to the music that is simply inspiring to see. You can tell that there is a great chemistry amoungst these guys and that they are really having fun. Hughie is of course missed and will continue to be, but his passing will be remembered each night when "Grey Ghost" is played and as a fan himself, he must be smiling down on his friends from above. I for one will see this band whenever I can get to a show (PLEASE keep playing in the NYC/Northeast/Philly area), and am actively reaching out to my friends to get behind this amazing band. Thank you guys for having the courage and fortitude to soldier on in the face of adversity. Now, how do we get a DVD on the concert to watch at home? You have got to capture this chemistry so it can be enjoyed by a wider audience.
Your friend,
JohnnyOutlaw

Letter to the Band
I am hearing so many good things about the new lineup. I am looking forward to seeing them live soon. Unfortunately, at this point you are way too far away. We need some love in the midwest and western US. I saw Henry with Blackhawk last summer here in Joplin, MO during Boomtown Days. (An annual celebration in the park). Come back and see us again Henry. I have been a fan forever and was going to see the Outlaws in Steelville last year the week after Hughie's passing. I miss Hughie and I know you guys are making him proud. Come on guys, there are several good venues here in the area. Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Ok, Memorial Hall here in Joplin, the outdoor concerts in the park. Spread the music guys and good luck.
God bless,

Both shows were absolutely GREAT! These guys just played there hearts out like their was no tomorrow. I've been a long time fan since the 70's and now my wife and 10 year old daughter are both fans. I took my wife and 10 year old daughter to B.B. Kings and they were so impressed, it's amazing to see that our kids now are becoming die hard fans. Henry Paul as usual did a fine job leading the band with his vocals. Chris as always was right on key with his fancy guitar work. Randy was slapping down that bass line as Monte pounded some serious drums. Newcomer Jon was amazing on keyboards and the only way to describe Billy Crain was Incredible. Billy plays with such preciseness and heart. Billy's showmanship is amazing and he compliments Chris as they both played amazing lightning fast leads with clarity and precision. This has to be the "BEST OUTLAWS" arrangement since the "Bring It Back Alive Days!" Please, what ever you do don't disband, keep this ensemble going it's just INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much Henry for help keeping the Flame ALIVE! None of us will ever forget Hughie, and he would of been proud as you guys represented him with great style and grace. I can't wait until the Outlaw's new CD hit's the stores. Very much looking forward to seeing you again. Please come back soon and play the NorthFork Theatre in Westbury, NY. Again, thanks for not letting the FLAME die out!
Outlaw Mitch!

B.B. Kings 3/1
It was a fantastic evening. The Band sounded right on. I saw the Band in '79 at the Meadowlands and hearing them live again, almost 30 years later, brought back great memories of the Southern Rock era. Continue the dream. America needs this music more then it understands.

WOW! What a show at B.B. Kings....
As Ronnie Van Zant would say, the band set the stage on fire last night at B.B. Kings. Hughie would have been proud, Billy Crain and Chris Anderson were fantastic. Henry never sounded better, if you guys don't see this band live you will be missing one of the best Southern Rock bands out there. You won't find two better guitar players than Billy and Chris. Thanks for a great show and keep the music alive forever.......

Penn's Peak
Well, it's been a week and 5 shows since we saw the boys in AC. AC was terrific and we thought it would get even better, but not this good this fast! Both myself and Mark (from another on-line Outlaws Group) were amazed! We were both at the AC show and agree that everything from Henry's vocals to the guitar interplay was as good as we've seen from any show in a long time! Henry seemed to be really loose and having a good time .His vocals on a couple of Hughie's songs (You are the Show & Ghost Riders) were much better than AC. Of course the HPB songs and Henry's Outlaws songs were smokin' !!! This is probably the last show for me until they play the northeast again. Penn's Peak is a nice venue. I was able to bring the wife & kids as there were seats. You could also stand in front and we did for Grey Ghost and GG&HT. My kids loved the show as well! My daughter's favorite Outlaw has been Chris, and now she's also a big Billy C. fan. My 11 year old son is a drummer, so of course he loves Monte. HP has been his favorite since he was a toddler and sang Go Down Rockin' at a talent show.
Devon Allman and Honeytribe were a great opening act. They chatted (Devon & the keyboard player), sold discs and signed for the fans after the show. I know that this was put together quickly, but it's a shame there is no merchandise. I gotta believe that if a couple of the guys took turns signing after each show, an awful lot of shirts and discs could be sold!

GREAT SHOW AT THE BIRCHMERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just wanted to thank this band for putting on an awesome show at the Birchmere last Wednesday. I've been a fan since the early days and last year became re-energized about the promise of a new album that seemed to have the flavor of the original outlaws' music. Then in September I was devastated to hear of Hughie's untimely passing. Five months later I stumble onto the new website and watched this band perform "unplugged" and it sounded GREAT!! I could tell you guys were as excited about playing as we the fans were about seeing and hearing you on stage.
In a nutshell, I knew the show in Virginia was going to be good but I had no idea that it would be that incredible. I was blown away. A friend who went with me said he had never seen me that happy and thought that I had attained "nirvana". Whatever it was it was a night to remember and I can only say "Thank you!!" to all the guys in the band for your amazing talents and hard work. Monte, Chris, Randy, Billy and Jon - You guys played your hearts out and were extremely tight. This team has amazing chemistry.
Henry Paul, you're a good and humble man without whom this would not have been possible. I could see in your video and on stage that keeping Hughie's dream alive is close to your heart. Thanks for taking the reins and giving your fans, old and new, so much enjoyment. I wish nothing but the best for all of you. Hope to see you back in the DC / Baltimore area real soon!!!!!!

Penns Peak! They're back and blazin! Thank You guys for keeping this music alive, and VERY well. As others have stated, Hughie would be so proud. Incredible night, huge crowd despite the snow storm and the guys came ready to play, and man did they have fun. Henry never sounded better, spot on layered harmonies, loud and crystal clear. You can tell they've been working hard to put together one hot show. Jon's keyboard playing brought a freshness and fullness to the classic sound. Monte and Randy put down a big fat bottom steady as a rock all night long. Chris is a monster and Billy Crain, what can you say about his skill and showmanship? The twin guitars delivered the Outlaws CRUNCH! The sound blended so well. Very powerful and moving moments between songs remembering our heroes. The guys really appreciate where they're at and the support given from us fans. Everyone should stop whatever they're doing to go see this band. Something special is happening......

Caught the "new" band at Mulcahy's last evening. Nice to see Henry back along with probably the only musician who can fill in for Hughie, that fireball Billy Crain! No mention of the new album, when it would be released or what would be a great tribute to Hughie - playing at least one of the new songs. I have heard a number of the tunes both in concert last year when the band played them at North Fork Theatre as well as on the old website and it was clear that Hughie along with Chris, Randy, Monte and David were back in the groove of penning some great songs. Guys - please play at least one of the new songs & mention when the album will be released!
BTW- Still holding out to hear Angels Hide after so many years!

Howdy Boy's
Caught my first ever outlaws show last night at Penns Peak PA. and I have to tell you I was waiting with baited breath, hoping the guitar work would be every bit of exciting as I had hoped. It was that and more.. you guy's rocked the house. A few hours drive and one heck of a snowstorm couldn't keep my wife and I from being there and to tell you the truth, we'd do it again. I've been a fan since the early 80's and just never had the chance to catch it live. All I can say is Fantastic job, loved every minute.. look forward to the next show. Keep it alive.. God bless Hughie...

Bringing it Back Alive One More Time. Been a fan since 1978. I went to Hofstra University in fall of 1978. From the moment I stepped on Long Island I became a Southern Rock Fan. WLIR-FM exposed me to you guys and I've loved your music ever since. I actually set up the stage for the Henry Paul Band when I worked for Hoftra Concerts. I've seen you many times in my youth, my favorite show being Nov 1979 at MSG with Molly Hatchet opening up. Hughie played an Awesome Green Grass that night. Felt very saddened to hear of the passing Hughie, so to pay homage, I made the trip from Brooklyn to Wantagh last night to see the show. You guys were awesome ! You made Hughie proud. I felt 25 years younger watching you guys. If I closed my eyes, I would have thought it was the original band. Thanks Henry and Monte.I'll see you at BB Kings. To quote my favorite song in the world, "GREEN GRASS AND HIGH TIDES FOREVER", my friends. Keep on Rockin'.

PS: Turn up Billy Crains amp, it was way too LOW, couldn't really hear his solo's that well ! Thanks

"Florida's Guitar Army is Alive and Well"
I went to the show last night on Long Island and it was absolutely incredible. First of all Henry and Monte deserve a lot of credit for putting together such a powerful band. Billy Crain played like he was a member of the Outlaws for life. As a big fan of the Henry Paul Band, I knew going in that this guy was one of the best Southern Rock guitarists there is. Chris Anderson was a surprise. He was ripping it all night and stood out especially on Grey Ghost. The bass player did a nice job as well as the organ player (Edward Norton Look alike). Monte, You ripped apart the skins all night, especially during Prisoner. You played great all night wearing your signature Sh*t eating grin, showing everyone why you've put this all together in the first place. Henry, You did a tremendous job the whole show. You sang the Hell out of Gunsmoke, Freeborn Man and the HPB songs were great. "Feel The Heat" was a big surprise, having been a big HPB fan, I never realized how great a live song that was. Hank, You still have the pipes. The tribute to Hughie was moving and the way Henry belted out all the Outlaw standards would make Hughie proud. The more people that see this current band, The more Buzz there will be. I'll see Ya'all at B.B. Kings on Saturday in Times Square. Just remember Southern rock is alive and well in NYC so keep the bus a coming...

Hey it's me Henry again! Northern Lights was fantastic....I was front and center, right in front of Henry Paul....I do have one complaint though...I'm only 17 in eleventh grade and I had to get to school the next am. My mom tapped me on my shoulder at 12:20 and said it's time to go, I said no GGHT was the next song! Sunday night was hard for me!!! SO, I fixed that, I will be seeing you all tomorrow night at BBKINGS I hope to be front and center once again, look for ME!!! I try and follow you where ever you go! I LOVE THE OUTLAWS MUSIC, I do miss HUGHIE, in fact he brought me up on stage at Northern Lights for a photo op..(hint, hint) can't wait for tomorrow night!

Birchmere performance
I, and my wife, have to agree with all of the posts previously written concerning The Outlaws Birchmere performance.........wow, an awesome musical performance, indeed. That particular performance reiterates my earlier comment that, "A legendary and creative style of music" remains.
Monte is the ultimate drummer who just seems to have so much fun yet we know he is so intense and serious about this band (although I do miss the dueling drum member David D.), Henry remains strong on his lead vocal role and rhythm guitar, Chris and Billy have distinctly different lead guitar styles yet they are able to compliment each other on each and every song, Jon's keyboard style fills in and smoothes ballad style songs and Randy creates so much dimension with his bass style (how about the beginning of Feel the Heat....). These are my opinions but, anyone who has not heard this band needs to see them for themselves. I can't believe that you would be disappointed.
Also, after the concert at a much later time, thanks to both Monte and John G. (band photographer) for taking the time to briefly discuss the past, current and future of The Outlaws. I believe there is so much more coming, soon. And, I hope you weren't late for your bus trip to New York for the next show.
Oh, and for all of the fans out there, I just found out today that The Outlaws are scheduled to play an event at Snowshoe WV in July. For those fans wanting to catch this group at a scenic and breathtaking venue, make plans now! But, if you can't make that one, just catch one anywhere near you.

Great To Hear!
Fantastic to hear that my favorite all time band is in the midst of Revival. Despite Hughie's Passing - and make no mistake he was perhaps one of the most under appreciated American Musical Legends, this music is too good and these players to incredibly talented not to be on the road sharing "The Spirit." Many years ago while Monte was in Branson he was kind enough to share his time with fans via private email. In one of those he told me he always had it in the back of his mind to "saddle up and ride one more time with his favorite all time band".. Why not- that's what Outlaws do..??! Turn it up and play it til your fingers hurt. Keep coming to Upstate N.Y. When sweet corn is in season. None better right Henry?
Best of Luck

Birchmere Was BLAZIN'!
Yes, indeed! The Birchmere was ablaze with the vibrant sounds of The Outlaws last evening. From the first note of "There Goes Another Love Song" to the final, crashing chord of "Green Grass and High Tides," The Outlaws proved that they have been and are a force to be reckoned with on the southern rock music scene. Henry did a fine job of providing the vocals in place of the dearly loved and departed Hughie Thomasson who was commemorated numerous times throughout the show. Chris and Billy traded fiery guitar work all evening while Randy and Monte laid down the rhythmical foundation. A wonderful addition to the band is keyboardist Jon Coleman who's colorful ebony and ivory work was seamlessly interwoven with the tunes we Outlaws fans have come to dearly treasure.
My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Birchmere which is an outstanding venue that provides an intimate setting for live entertainment. The Outlaws, for one evening at least, certainly turned this music hall into a symphonic cavern of exhilarating and legendary southern rock. Thank you to the band, the management of the group and the venue, our gracious and very nice tablemates (Brad and Wendy), and to all that took the time and energy to make last evening's Outlaws show a monumental experience.

Wow! A blistering show to say the least. It peeled my eyelids back. Lot's of nice interaction between band members, smiles, throughout. The Birchmere is a wonderful small venue and it seemed that Billy and Randy didn't even have the in-the-ear monitors in, not really needed. The PA was a bit loud IMHO, and the vocals were a bit distorted. Henry was in fine voice, and he switched back and forth between a Gretch Hollowbody and several acoustic guitars. Being a huge HBP fan, I noticed Billy Crain mostly. The monitor mix guy was real friendly and cool. I'm a weirdo, hence the 1st solo, 2nd solo stuff. If you look on the first few Skynyrd albums, you'll see where I got that. Don't miss this tour, it smokes. Thank you Henry, Monte, Jon, Billy, Randy and Chris. Henry also mentioned the bands' 70s road managers being in the house on the tour-thanks to them too.
Peace,

Birchmere 2/27/2008
God Bless Hughie, Billy and Frank. The band is back!!! During the dark days after Hughie's passing no one really knew what would happen to the band. Well they brought the house down tonight at the Birchmere in Northern Virginia! I am thrilled for the band and I had one of the best times I think I've ever had at a concert. Everbody was up and I concur with Turning Stone 2/23 - Monte had a huge smile all the way through the gig. To the band - thank you so much for putting this thing back together. May your grass be green and your tides be high forever.
Heartfelt Thanks,
Gary Thompson
PS I first saw the Outlaws in '72 or '73 at the University of South Florida

All I can say is THANK YOU!!!!!! The show at Turning Stone was just amazing! Sure we all will miss Hughie, my God do we miss him!!! But you guys performed your hearts out & we the audience were there with you, and I believe so was Hughie. The passion could be felt in the whole performance. Monte was smiling the whole show. What a true blend of talent, and just REAL PEOPLE, the band currently is. Randy, Chris, Billy, Henry, Monty, Jon you guys are keeping the tradition going. I first saw you guys at Alfred in 1978, & have kept with you since. I never thought that I would see the band perform after the NYS Fair this year. ( One of Hughie's last shows), but as the true dedicated artists you guys are....you are keeping it going...Once again!!!!!! To hear Knoxville Girl, Grey Ghost, Prisoner, GGHT live....I'm still Blown Away!!! I'm sure Hughie, Frank, & Billy are smiling from ear to ear from above...I know Monte was & we are & right back at them!!!!!!!!!

Northern Lights Show - Clifton Park NY
PHENONMENAL SHOW! Thank you to all the members of the Outlaws brotherhood that have clearly dedicated themselves to continuing in the spirit of the music! I have seen many Outlaws performances since 1976; last night's show was absolutely one of the best! Every member of the band played with a level of intensity that could only come from their hearts and souls. I don't know how to explain it but, from the moment I was introduced to the music of the Outlaws, it got into my blood like no other artists music ever has. The Outlaws music has always had the ability to transport us back to a simpler time, when life wasn't so complex, a place of Green Grass and High Tides, framed within the Outlaws music. Thank you for keeping the small towns like Clifton Park on the tour. It's in small venues like that where it all began, and us fans have an opportunity to be a part of the brotherhood, to be an Outlaw, if only for a night.
Welcome aboard to the newest members of the band! Billy Crain, WOW! You kicked it last night. Beyond the awesome guitar work, when your wireless battery decided it couldn't keep up with you, you friggin' ripped out the cord, plugged in direct, and jumped back in right where you needed to be! You ARE the consummate professional. Randy Threet, great bass and harmonies, super tight show! Jon Coleman, welcome aboard, the keyboards and vocals make a great addition and really solidify the whole package.
Chris Anderson, you consistently give 110% every time I have seen you. You leave nothing on the bus, you bring it all! Can't wait to hear you on the new album. Monte, fantastic show! You are the heart, the driving force behind the Guitar Army! It was an absolute honor to shake your hand last evening. Thank you for the sticks! Man, you beat the crap out of them! Funny story, I didn't want someone to grab it out of my hand, so I tucked them in my pants and up my shirt. That stick was shredded, I got a splinter! I laughed my butt off trying to get it out, while trying not to wake up my wife so I could sneak into bed quietly. Great show! Henry, you never fail to sing your heart out! It is clear that these are not just songs that you sing, these songs come from deep inside, and are a part of YOU! You sang from the soles of your feet last night. I did not believe that there was anyone capable of singing Hughie's parts until I heard you do it last night. You nailed it, and the "flame" was burning bright through you! There is no better tribute to your friend than the talent and energy you bring to the Outlaws. I have been a fan of all your music. I was glad to hear you say that "This is going to happen." It has been a while since this much potential has been present and united in the band, (in my very humble opinion). I truly believe that the best is yet to come. Keep having fun, and don't let the process spoil the ride.
I apologize for the length of this note, but I have never written any fan mail before. Last night I realized just how much a part the Outlaws music has played in my life. I was at the show with my cousin from Long Island, and my brother in law who lives locally. We have all loved the music of the Outlaws and have been to numerous shows together. As a matter of fact, we all brought our Kids to the 30th Aniversary tour show at Northern Lights. At the show I was missing sharing the moment with my brother, who we lost a few years ago. All I had to do was to look on my left and my right to realize that I really had two more brothers all along. And it was due in part to your music. You see, we always have been, and always will be, part Outlaw.
Billy, Frank, and Hughie will live on through their contribution to Outlaw music,
but the band can "Bring 'em Back Live" every night the Outlaws play!
Sincerely,
George Nash
P.S.
There are some great songs on Soldiers of Fortune, Cold Harbor is awesome, Whacha Don't Do, and of course One Last Ride. It would be great to hear some of those next time around. And I loved the idea that Henry threw out about sharing some Outlaws stories with the audience. A "Storytellers" type show would be great. There are lots of opportunities, but the fans have to be willing to entertain new material. That is always challenging. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to the opportunity to meet again! Safe Journeys...

Northern Lights Show 2/24/2008
This was the fourth time I have seen the band at Northern Lights since 2005, and I think this show was the most enjoyable. The song selection was excellent and the band was in great form. Henry was full of energy and his vocals were strong. Chris and Billy traded guitar leads like they have been playing together for years - this was only their third show, I can only imagine how they will sound after 10 or 15 shows! Randy, Monte and Jon were all in top form as well. If the Outlaws are playing at a club near you - go to the show - you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to a new CD and catching another show in 08.

Cant wait to rock!!!
I was 14 yrs young back in 1979 when I saw you guys along with Molly Hatchet opening for you at the Nassau Veterans Coliseum, Long Island New York. My 2 best friends at the time were there too and we got rocked and rolled till the cows came home that night and I was branded with a feeling I never had yet. Yours and Mollys music made three Yankees believers forever. Now your coming back into my backyard on Thursday albeit without some of the friends I made back in 79 but I am still anxious to hear the songs that helped mold my musical and personal interests that make me who I am today. I'm now 42 and still love to listen to the music of my past and go to the shows of the bands I grew up with. yes I'll miss Hughie and Billy and those that are not with us anymore but will appreciate you guys for carrying on the LEGEND of the Outlaws for me and my friends from Yankee land that know better. See you Thursday night!!!
THANKS TO THE OUTLAWS
And thank you from

Northern Lights Feb. 24th
We shall mourn the loss of The Flame, but one thing is for certain - the fire is there and burning red hot! WHAT A SHOW! The vocals and the choice of music was nothing but a blast from the past. Hearing both the best of The Outlaws together with music from The Henry Paul Band was one of the BEST Outlaw shows I've seen (and believe me - since the late 70's - that's a lot of shows!) Don't pass up the opportunity to reflect on the past and also see the future to come. The fire and the passion has been brought back alive!

This current lineup is amazing! This band is as tight and passionate about their music as anyone out there. Henry's vocals were pure genius and the guitar work by Billy and Chris was a true delight! The band was as sharp as I have ever seen them!

Turning Stone 2/23/08
My seat for this show was right at the stage!! What can I say but "YOU GUYS ROCK!!" It's Monday and my ears still aren't working right. Chris was right in front of me playing his magic guitar and making me scream, I'm still awe struck. I had my picture taken with the band before the show and I am very proud to say I have another picture from a previous show at Turning Stone with Hughie. I met Henry in I believe 1981 (or around there because those days are a little fuzzy to me) when they played at Morrisville College and my brother brought the guys home with him after the show. I think they may have been at Leonard's Hotel in Oneida before that. Well, just wanted to drop the boys a note and tell them how much I love them and I hope to see them the next time around in Oneida, NY (Verona) or thereabouts. Thanks guys for keeping the fire burning.

When I heard of the loss of Hughie, I thought I would never see the Outlaws again. As a huge fan of The Henry Paul Band and Blackhawk, I was overjoyed to hear the Henry would be rejoining the Outlaws lineup. I attended the Turning Stone show on Feb. 23. I was completely blown away when the band performed "So Long" and "Grey Ghost". I never thought I would see that happen as I did not have the opportunity to see HPB live in their original incarnation. The Turning Stone show was a great experience. The band sounded great and very tight considering the short amount of time they had to get ready for this tour. These guys played their asses off! I enjoyed the show so much that I went to the Northern Lights show the next night. It was completely different atmosphere, much more intimate and a lot more rowdy! The sound quality wasn't up to the sound at the Turning Stone but I think it was as good as it could be considering the size of the venue. These guys gave everything they had to put on another fantastic performance. The highlight of my evening was when Henry Paul and Billy Crain signed my "Grey Ghost" LP. I hope Henry and the rest of the Outlaws know how much we love them here in Upstate NY.
Please, come back soon!

Saw the show Saturday at Turning Stone. One of the best concerts I have seen in Years. The band was tight and played their hearts out. Saw the Outlaws in 1976 with ZZ Top. Thought the band was was awesome and with their full sound, and I thought they blew ZZ top away. This weekends concert brought me back to 1976. Anyone who gets a chance should see these guys perform.

I was going to bring the insert from Chris Anderson's "Old Friend" CD in the hopes that I'd run into him and ask him to sign it for me. I didn't bring it, and of course, as soon as we entered the casino we walked right into Chris. I told him I absolutely love his CD and hope he does another one someday soon! The show was absolutely incredible and you guys did the right thing ... the music is far too good to not play live. The vocal harmonies were just outstanding and I'm looking forward to seeing this lineup again in 08'.

The Outlaws performed at the House of Blues on Friday Feb 23, 2008. I was optimistic, but unsure of what I would hear from the guys. In short, I was totally blown away. The Harmonies reminded me of the early Outlaws. The energy level was the same as ever. Unbelievable.
I knew Henry was going to sound terrific, and he did. His sincerity came thru when he spoke of Frank, Billy, and Hughie. Class act. I've seen Chris a few times with the Outlaws and as always he delivered. As for Billy Crain, I can only say one thing, amazing. It was a real pleasure to see you play. Monte and Randy didn't miss a beat all night, Solid. And newcomer Jon was a nice touch, very good.
I look forward to many years of great music and harmonies from this band. To all that braved the weather, I salute you all. We were treated to an unbelievable show, full of emotion and wonderful talent. To the Outlaws, thank you for continuing a great legacy. This lineup is sure
to take the band to the next level. I wish you guys all the best. Can't wait to see you again. Come to Philly sometime.

I never posted a lot on the old Outlaws World. I read Monte's blog , tour dates and some of the message boards. I get most of my Outlaws info from another group that I belong to. I did want to thank Henry and the boys (especially Billy C.) for working things out and keeping this band alive! I saw the show in A.C. with my brother-in-law and two friends from the other group .We were all mightily impressed. It wasn't perfect, and
of course Hughie can't be replaced, but it was awfully good! After seeing the band 7 times since the 2005 reunion began, I didn't want it to end. When Chris says in the promo that he thinks this is what Hughie would have wanted, I have to agree with him. What could have been more important to HT (other than loved ones) than the Outlaws and Outlaws music? Look at what he gave up and how hard he worked to put
them back together! He seemed truly happy playing for and interacting with the fans from '05 -'07.
After Hughie's death , a number of us suggested on different forums how great it would be if Henry returned (to be fair just as many felt otherwise). I didn't think it would actually happen. Anyway the show was great! Both the band and crowd that showed up on a tough weather night, were into it! It was great hearing both Henry's songs and many of our favorite songs that Hughie used to sing. Henry and the boys did a nice job of pulling it off. I think the secret was in not trying to be Hughie, yet still remaining as true to the original sound as possible. Kudos to
Billy Crain! He is a great player and showman! I can't wait to see how good he and Chris can become! Highlights for me were Song in the Breeze and seeing Billy on Grey Ghost for the first time in 29 years since I saw the Henry Paul Band open for the ABB at the Spectrum in Philly. I was as blown away now as I was way back when! Thanks again for keeping Monte ,Chris, Randy and this great band together. Welcome aboard Jon, and special thanks for adding Billy Crain. He (along with Chris Hicks or Steve Grisham) is one of the few players that many hard core fans would accept
and probably the best fit!
Thanks for the great show and we'll see you Friday night at Penn's Peak

Turning Stone Concert 02/23/2008
What a show at the Turning Stone. It was like seeing two concerts at once with the Outlaws and Henry Paul songs together sharing the same stage. The guitar work of Billy and Chris were phenomenal. Henry's voice and his enthusiasm were unwavering. Jon on keyboards added another dimension to the band while Randy and Monte had smiles on there faces all night long. It truly was a tribute to the fallen Outlaws.
The crowd last night was really into it and what a ride it was ending with Grey Ghost and the encore of Green Grass and High Tides. I still have tears in my eyes.
Until the next time,
Keep the Flame Burning.

Turning Stone Casino
I saw the band with Dan Toler at the Altamont Fair in Upstate NY, great show. When I heard about Hughie, I thought that was it for the OUTLAWS. Then last night I saw the band at the casino with Henry etc. WOW, The crowd were on their feet demanding an encore! This revival is here to stay! They seemed to recapture the old days of the Outlaws. Just ask the audience!

Guys,
The show was awesome. The playing was absolutely great and the sentiments for your fallen was felt throughout the show as was your determination to keep the Band alive and to give us new music to enjoy for more years to come. I want you to know that we the fans back you 100 % in the keeping of the music and the band together. I know Billy, Frank and Hughie have got to have a big smile on and are as proud of you as we are.
I also want everyone to know that the show at HOB Atlantic City was marred by bad weather coming through the area that day and even with the fact that the audience turned out to be small these guys did not back off one bit on their playing and for the fans that were there it was just a great show. I for one, and I think I speak for many, thank you for coming back out so we can still hear the music. And don't worry as we know Billy, Frank and Hughie are in the music and are standing next to you as you move on.
Thank You

Yippy Ki-Oh...
I haven't seen the Outlaws in many years, but I saw the Outlaws last night at HOB and they Rocked the House! Real bummer about Hughie - glad the Band is continuing on... I brought my daughter to the show, as she never saw or heard them before, and she also was blown away! Super tight guitars, as usual, and they played all the GREATEST songs. Looking forward to seeing you guys again, and can't wait for the new CD to come out! Rock on!

H.O.B. Concert
I had the pleasure of seeing the Outlaws on 2/22 in Atlantic City. What a show, yes they played G.G.H.T. also Freeborn Man, Ghost Riders, Prisoner, Hurry Sundown, also Feel The Heat, So Long, Grey Ghost, and many more, about a 2 hour show.
Billy Crain was smoking and Henry Paul sounded great. Only about 250 people at the show but they were treated to a great performance. They did not play any new tunes but said they were looking for a deal to put out new cd . Go see this band!!!!

THANK YOU OUTLAWS!
I cannot wait to see the band in Alexandria VA next week! Like so many other fans have stated, you guys have our support, thoughts, and prayers.
I am listening to Full Circle on the web site now, which by the way, the new web site is awesome! It's great that the Outlaws are once again riding high and proud and we can't wait to see you on the road!
To all the guys in the band, thanks for getting the band back together and carrying on the Outlaws music and legend, we appreciate it so much!
All the best in 2008 and beyond!

I'm not much of a computer geek, and I don't go on the internet too often. This really puts me out of touch. Today Feb 21, 2008., I found your website (it's terrific), and learned of Hughie's passing. Needless to say I am totally bummed out right now. A piece of my youth has been taken away. I have been listening and loving the Outlaws music since the early 70's. The Music and Harmony's will always be remembered.
I am glad to see the Outlaws continue. Their music is timeless. Henry will do a great job fronting this lineup. I have followed his career and enjoyed ALL his music from Rock n Roll to Country. I am looking forward to new music from them.
Tomorrow, Friday Feb.22, the Outlaws will be playing the House of Blues in A.C.. There is snow forecasted for Friday, but I'll be commuting from Philly, to enjoy and support the Greatest Southern Rock n Roll band ever. Looking forward to seeing this new lineup. And to all you Outlaw fans in the area, Stick around for Rock and Roll. Green Grass and High Tides Forever.

"the re-kindling of the flame"
I was sorry to see the passing of the "flame", but am looking forward to the passing of the torch. I have seen the Outlaws many times in the 70's and early 80's. They seemed to stop through the Lehigh Valley often back then. I first saw them at Lehigh University and became an instant fan. They toured through with many other groups, but my favorite shows were with "Molly Hatchett". What a combination. What a performance!
Well, I will be seeing you all again in a week at Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe, the tickets were a Valentines gift from my girlfriend. How's about that! Well, lookin' forward to some good ol' southern rock, bring it on.

I have to admit that I was on the fence concerning the future of the band. One thing I knew for sure was that Henry Paul was the only person that could possibly lead the way. With the Outlaw background behind him, and the only singer/songwriter left from the first album in '75, he held the key to a revival and the Outlaw tradition in his hand. Together with Monte, the Outlaws will move on to hopefully great things. One cannot deny the success that Henry has had with the HPB and Blackhawk. If anyone knows the business and how to get things done, it's him. I feel the same remorse and sadness that everyone does concerning Hughie. My solace is knowing that Hughie would have wanted his music and Outlaw tradition to continue. Now it is up to the band not to stray far from the course and vision that Hughie held. While there was only one Hughie Thomasson, his passing gave me reason to pause and reflect on the fact that there is ONLY one of each us as well. As the band strives to reach its full potential, so too should we.

When I first heard rumors of the Outlaws continuing after Hughie's death I had mixed feelings about it. After seeing the 2008 promo video that was recently posted, I am excited about it and hope it is a success for Monte, Chris, Randy, Henry, Billy C. and Jon C. Can't wait to see an upcoming show. I still miss Hughie very much and it will be different hearing his songs with out him but I think every things going to be alright.

Having been a follower and fan of The Outlaws for over 30 years, I was afraid the legendary and creative music style which they created, would possibly be lost forever, after losing Hughie Thomasson in September 2007. I attended 5 of their concerts, since the inception of their '30 Year Reunion Tour', and was just amazed at the intensity of each and every performance. In addition, an entire album featuring new material still awaited release to existing fans and, surely to a whole new genre of listeners of which I believe acceptable acclaim would come.
As I now see it, the legend will continue. There will be strength in the new line up of The Outlaws. Indeed, there are changes and members have sadly gone but..........their spirit will remain and continue to influence all. In addition to new live performances, I'm anxiously awaiting word on release of the new album (O.K......CD). Long live the legacy!

IF I HAD MY CHOICE OF SEEING ANY MUSIC GROUP PAST OR PRESENT, IT WOULD DEFINITELY BE THE OUTLAWS. I WISH I COULD TELL HOW MUCH THE GOOD NEWS OF THEIR RETURN MEANS TO ME. I'M HOPING TO SEE THEM IN THE TAMPA AREA SOON ! THANKS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN.

Just had to drop a note to express my feelings about the "New Line-up" and the fact that the Torch will continue to be carried! As an Outlaw fan from the beginning I must say I am ecstatic! I have been following the band from the start and am proud to say I have probably seen every
conceivable line-up that has come down this long road! Thanks must go out to Henry and the boys for doing this! I can't wait to see what they have in store! I was on the Lynyrd Skynyrd Cruise this January and got to meet Ean Evans and he told me what a great part Hughie played in his life. I was lucky enough to help out with and witness a tribute that Ean put together on the boat with Chris Hicks, B.B Borden, and the Marshall Tucker Band. They played Green Grass and High Tides on the final night of the cruise! Let me tell you there was not a dry eye in the house or on the stage! Many have said it was the highlight of the cruise! So I just want to say, Rock on Brothers and as Hughie said "There's a little Outlaw in all of us"!

I have been a fan since the beginning.55 years old like Hughie. I saw them this summer in Baltimore and as usual was glad I did! Little did I know that would be one of the last shows for Hughie.I actually said hello to him getting into the tour bus!! BIG THRILL for me. The death of Hughie was devastating to me! One of my guitar heroes had died.I listened to Outlaw music for days but could not listen to Green Grass. Too much Hughie memories for me!!
When I checked back to this website and saw the band was not "dead" I rejoiced. I saw the Henry Paul Band back in 1979 so I know who the new members are and can"t wait to see them.
PLEASE COME TO BALTIMORE!!!!

Outlaws Ride Again...
A friend of mine and I have seen the Outlaws 5 times in the Chicagoland area since May 2005 and once in Milwaukee last year @ the casino.
Everywhere we went we met great people - other Outlaws fans who are genuinely warm and open and lovers of great music.
4 of the 5 times we were lucky enough to be in the front row right below Hughie and were constantly amazed at how talented he was and at how much fun the band seemed to be having on stage. He and Chris Anderson made a great team and David, Randy and Monte were all awesome.
We are very happy to hear that the band has chosen to carry on and look forward to a return visit to the area and hearing the old classics, the newer stuff from the new CD and whatever else the band writes in the future. It is great to have Henry back and Billy Crain is a good choice to help fill the huge void.
We feel that the right decision was made to continue on and keep Hughie's (and Monte's, Billy's, Frank's and Henry's) dream alive.
The Outlaws music is a soundtrack to our lives.
Thank you,
Joe Starus

Hughie was called back to his roots so the music could live on.
Thanks go out to Henry/Billy/Jon for their input on this "Tour" honoring Hughie.
Chris/Randy/Monte carry the torch The Flame has passed as long as The Outlaw music burns in your soul.
It burns in the fans.
Looking forward to the new CD release.
Hughie will be smiling from above...See ya in Wantagh on the 28th....DJ

Kudos for carrying on....
I would like to say to the members of the Outlaws I think it shows a lot of heart to carry on in the wake of Hughie's death. As I just posted on Charlie Daniels Message Board. I will certainly get out to see you when you come to Connecticut. All of the so called "Southern Rock" (As Gregg Allman once said "saying Southern Rock is kind of like saying Rock Rock", because it all started in the South.) bands have a kinship with their fans and their fellow musicians like no other musicians in the world. We are like a huge family. I wish you guys great success. May God Bless you.

So excited...
This is great! I keep checking the site and I was so pleased to see the new news! I am there as soon as you have a concert within driving distance. I grew up seeing the Outlaws in the mid 70's early 80's and just missed seeing you last fall. I am so glad that the "Guitar army" will still ride, can't wait to see you Monty, Henry, Chris, Randy, Billy(Crain) and Jon. I know you will carry on the tradition and reach new heights.
A Big Fan,

Like everyone else on here, I wasn't sure this would happen. But I'm glad it did! I've been a huge fan of The Outlaws since high school back in the 70's, and I'm not ready to quit. I hope you can make it back out to Oklahoma sometime this year. I'd love to catch a few shows. If not, have car - will travel.

Thank God the Outlaws are carrying on.
That's all - just wanted to send a positive message to all involved.
Hughie Thomasson apparently had the nickname "flame." I can only
imagine that he would want that flame to remain burning after his time.
Looking forward to making whatever cross-country drive is necessary
to hear these sounds again.
I pray that Billy, Frank and Hughie are somehow together, arm in arm
- seeing this happen - and blanketing you all with their blessing.
God Bless and turn it up,
Marc

I'm staring at my computer...without words
Every once in a while, I stop by Outlawsmusic.com, more for comfort than anything else. The Outlaws have been a part of my life since I was 10 years old. Last summer I truly felt like part of me died as I was sure this time, it was the end of the road.
I'm not sure I have the words to express how happy I am that Outlaws music will live on.
Who knows what the future will bring... but a huge thanks to the band for carrying on. I'm sure the decision was not easy.
This band means so much to so many people and in the end, its the music that brings so much joy.
Best to all of you...see you on the road and keep the flame burning!

Boys!!!,
Glad to see this site back up and running! Boy I sure do hope that this version of the Outlaws will be heading to Minnesota this spring sometime. Cant wait to see Henry and Billy Crain back on stage together again. Sounds like this should be one kick ass band.
I also hope that the nay sayers aren't being to big of a let down to the group, I believe that they are the minority, they may be loud, but they are few....
