There are no words that I can think of to express the heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in The Outlaws Memorabilia Auction. The proceeds from this auction purchased one of Hughie's guitars from a private collector and was presented to our Mom. There were lots of smiles and tears. The gratitude that we have to everyone involved is somewhat overwhelming. People that we have never met and never spoken to have done something out of the kindness of their heart that we as a family will always be grateful for. Outlaws fans are an amazing group of people. Thank you to the band and to the fans for keeping the music alive. After receiving this wonderful guitar we can now understand how Hughie was able to do what he did, be on the road, and away from home for such long periods of time. It was because of fans like you. Thank you again to the band and to everyone involved. After we presented Mom with the guitar and everything settled down Mom took it out of the case and said "is it in tune, and played a little." Guess we know where Hughie got it from!
